i bought a BPE Fletching jig a fews years ago.  I cant remember if it it left or right helical, is there an easy way to tell?  I need to order some feathers, and want to get the right kind.

If you look at the feather clamp from the back and held feather edge down like it was about to stick a feather on the shaft - it will swoop left for lefts and right for rights. Or another way of thinking of it is that lefts spiral counter clockwise from the nock and rights go clockwise.
