Dayone Wool ASAT Camo
« on: September 02, 2008, 11:53:00 PM »
Been looking at the wool camo that is available and the Dayone stuff looks interesting.  Do any of you guys have this camo?  How do you like it? How does it compare to other brands?  I understand that KOM, SI, and GWW are the best, but Dayone is have the price.

Thanks,  James

Never owned Day One wool but I did buy fleece pants and a parka  with windstopper and was very disappointed with it. The ASAT colors faded and it piled real bad.

For wool I've owned SI,KOM and GWW and prefer KOM.

I have the day one wool and love it. I also have the Gray Wolf and it is excellent, but considering the price, the Day One would definitely be my choice if I were buying new today.

This will be my first year with DayOne wool ASAT.  I like what I see so far, but the cold and critters will be the final judges.

ASAT is one of the best camo patters out there IMHO. I love my day one wool.

I too have the dayone wool coat in ASAT, great camo, and am looking at getting bibs soon.  I also have a full set of GWW in Preditor Brown, my second choice camo.  GWW is custom made and therefore costs more but I can tell the differnece and it is worth it to me. If I could get GWW in ASAT that is what I would buy.  Since GWW does not offer ASAT, DayOne is where I went.

I own an insulated ASAT wool vest.  I have raved about it often on here and on the *********** and I am planning to buy more wool ASAT items this season.   I have worn it quite a bit and it still looks nearly new after 3 seasons.

GrayWolf for me. I have the unlined pullover, lined jacket, and unlined pants all in fall gray predator wool. Love the stuff and the service is second to none!
