Well folks, a couple more days and we are there, the Wisconsin Bow Opener! I am like a little kid right now! This will be my 1st season with my Longbow in hand! My knees are shaking just thinking about it. This week has been great getting everything ready to go!!! I have been waiting for this change from the wheels to Longbow since the season closed back in January when I bought my Longbow ......... I am ready!
Good luck to everyone this season!

best of luck to you Joe. Just remember, it's a whole new can of worms now. lol Remember to pick out the smallest spot you can to shoot at and you want your arrow to come out right behind that opposite leg. btw, what arrows and heads are you shooting?

Hey Joe, Last week I posted a simular sentiment!! I work long hours now, so usually have time to let fly about 5 arrows after I get home before it is too dark. I can see my target, but not my arrow flight due to low light of dusk. It is great practice for early and late shooting situations. I am confident I am ready as well.
My new 66 inch longbow is ready to claim its first deer!!!
I am stoked!! Good luck to you!

Thanks guys and gals! I have got the "pick a spot" drilled into my head!!!!!!!!! I really appreciate all the help you all have given to get me to this point! Some answered some of my questions and some asked questions I was going to, either way all the folks on this site has been a wealth of info to get me here!
Thanks you very much!
Just think, 2 more wake ups and its here. Friday night doesn't count because I won't be able to sleep so there will be no "wake up" involved!!!!!!!
Good luck to all, hunt hard and be safe!

Good luck!! I'm as psyched as you!
This'll be my first year out with a recurve - and after meeting and shooting with Frassettor on here, it may be the only bow to enter the woods with me for the season.
Stay safe and shoot straight, everyone!
