new set up this year!
« on: September 12, 2008, 10:16:00 PM »
last year after hunting with my 64" tomahawk(that i love) out of my summit climbing stand with the bar in front i struggled a bit. where i hunt i have to mostlt use climbers. i was very limmited on my shots, so much that i never got a shot from  a tree. well after deer eason i opted for a shorted bow. my widow psr v 50# shot it the 3-d shoots all summer and got faily good. then i still had the same old stand so i bought a summit bushmaster although i condidered the open shot and it came  today. i think that this combo will be great. i can shoot in most dirrections and also streight down. i was in no way bad mouthing my t-hawk its my favoite bow to shoot. just not as versitile for me out of a tree any of you shot shorted bows from trees. i would love to shoot about a 58" long bow from a tree to see.

I shoot a 54" Arroyo from RER and love short bows. I like 60"s or shorter but my 54"er shoots like a 62" bow, it handles great in the trees! Shawn
