Limbsation ????
« on: September 13, 2008, 08:05:00 AM »
I have a few questions about Limbsations.

1.  Where are the available for sale?
2.  Do they add any draw weight or make the bow shoot different?
3.  Are they easy to remove without making a mess of the limbs?

Thanks,
Mike

I wouldnt think they would add any weight or noticeable difference.

String dancer, you can get them at onestringer,or kking,3rivers, got mine at kustom king!! they don't change lbs or the way your bow shoots, and as for removal i haven't tried yet,but they claim it's easy to take them off, with out a mess! i went with these as i couldn't afford real snake skins this year, but next year my bud linc from martville ny will be doing the skins for me!

They do not change the way your bow shoots.  I have shot my bow through the chrono with a hooter shooter, then put a set on and shot it through the same chrono with the same hooter shooter and the speed was the same.

Limbsations are only available at  www.onestringer.com  NOT at Kustom King or 3 Rivers.

They work great and FAIRLY easy to apply. Take your time and follow directions. They can customize them anyway you want. I had our hunt club named put on mine.

I used some for a about three months on a custom recurve and decided to take them off.  They took alot of finish with them when they came off.  Had to have the limbs refinished.

TRAP,

Thanks.  I wondered if they would ruin the finish somehow when they were removed.
