I thought I was the only one who felt this way, LOL.
I have an ole Bear that I can shoot extremly well, but I wanted a long bow. I have had a couple differnt long bows and just could not figure them out, enough to be real consistent the way I thought I should be, till here just recently. So I bought another long bow. I'm doing better now. To me, they hold different and they shoot different then a recurve. I shoot one arrow at a time when practicing, then retreive it and shoot again, more of a hunting situation then a target shoot, seems to work for me.
I bought a Martin Mountainer, which is no high dollar bow, but it fits me and I am happy with it. It looks good, it fits good and it feels good. When I do everything right, it sticks an arrow right where I am looking.
Practice, practice, practice, one arrow at a time.
