Does anyone know what type of material they use and how many strand FF string it is?

Dave does not actually make the strings he provides with his bows. FF or Dyna97 can be used on Silvertips that are FF compatible, in fact strings made of all the low-stretch material can probably be used. FF has actually become more of a generic term with the newer alternatives with similar properties. I have two STs that are FF compatible, 63# and 66#. Strings are 12-strand Dyna97, with padded loops.

Thanks Jeff, mine is FF compatible a 55# 64" tip. Gonna have the string dude on here (G-strings) make me a couple.

I have Bobby Graham make the strings I use on my Silvertips. You can find him under the dealer classifieds. Mine are 12 strands of Dyna 97 with padded loops. I use rubber silencers and shoot 530 arrows out of my 55lb bows. Extremely quiet. Good luck!

J-dog, most times the loops are padded to make the loops a larger diameter and not as likely to cut through the limb tip. If they make the bow quieter, I really can't say...Mike
