Seeing any squirrel sign?

I've been looking to do a little squirrel hunting but haven't seen any sign. The deer and turkey sure have been eating the hickory nuts though.   :D

They've been cutting everything that they can find to cut, including pine cones.

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

The forest floor is covered with cuttings here also!  Hard to hunt em, though.  With all the rain we've had this year, the woods look more like a jungle...

I watched at least 10 different ones playing around my stand saturday morning.  Can't hunt them here until the end of Oct. so all I can do is sit and watch them for now.

Them look like like squirrell cuttings to me. I dont think a turkey could swallow a hickory nut.

Finding pretty good sign around here. Numbers may be down a little due to the poor mast crop last year. Mast looks good this year however.
