tanning a bear hide

shot a nice black bear this fall and would like to tan it myself. Could some one point me the way to a good way to tan it. won't have any trouble fleshing and turning the eyes, ears, nose and lips just need some help getting it tanned.

I guess you don't have the brain any more? There are a few product you can buy. Dixie tan works well. You might need a few boxes for some thing the size of a bear, but it is inexpensive. Google it. Comes with directions.

You can brain tan with the hair on . It works well, but is a bit of work as is any self tanning job. Do you need brain tan directions?
