Badlands 4500 versus Blacks Creek Alaskan
« on: September 27, 2008, 12:15:00 PM »
Posted this to Product Reviews and then realized questions go in PowWow:

I recently trashed my back pack - which means I am looking for a new, backcountry pack. The most important features for which I am looking are - able to support a 5-7 day backcountry trip (not necessarily a hunting trip), an internal frame, and able to haul meat at the same time. After some research, it appears that the Badlands 4500 and the Blacks Creek Alaskan are two good choices. I am looking for input from people that have used either one. I am especially interested in opinions on why I should spend almost $200 more for the Badlands 4500.
