Tony,

Great looking bear. Do you have a story to go with the picture?
Nice last name also.

Finally got a chance to check out the TradGang after unpacking from a weekend shoot.  I see my name up top but I still see Mike Yancey's magnificent Muley. The Black Bear was taken in Ontario on a hunt with my son, nephew and a few good friends the first week of September.  It was nice to spend time up in the northwoods after a long Kansas summer. I took the Bear the first evening with my Striker Stinger, Arrow Dynamic shaft and a Magnus II Broadhead. After a 15 yard shot I saw the Bear go down only about 30 yards. Back in camp the other guys reported not seeing any bears which made me all the more satisfied with my kill.  The next few days made me wish I was still hunting as it was like somebody flipped the switch and the area was swarming with bears. I passed the time fishing some beautiful lakes for Northern Pike and ole Marbles eyes. By the end of the week we had killed four bears including my sixteen year old son's first bear and a monster Black bear shot by my nephew "Huck". But that's a different story.

I thought I recognized you in the picture. We met briefly on the long shoot range. I am the guy that had the left hand Centaur bow. I would say that you are definitely ready for the season! Hey everyone… At the Snow shoot there was an elk target setup 90 yards out and Tony hit it three times in a row. The shots were a little low but the windage was perfect. Great shooting Tony and Happy Birthday!

Where in Kansas do you live?
