I keep trying to find something that works better than a bow quiver, but I just can't!  I give up and will stick with the bowquiver.

Are you backpacking in to your camp or dayhunting from a truck camp? Big difference.

Besides the annoying strap factor, an Eagles Flight bow quiver is all the weight I'm adding when I'm hauling a weeks worth of provisions and shelter into camp for 4+ miles. Like gehrke I do carry some extra arrows into camp in an ultralight flyrod tube (4oz).

Generally for hunting out west I have to go with the bowquiver.  I have tried everything else and with western game, and stalking, hiking, weather, large packs, etc. it just seems to be the best.  I like either the BOA strap on or the Great Northern.
