What would we do without Dads
« on: March 01, 2007, 01:07:00 AM »
Just sold my back quiver and was on the prowl for another. Went to visit my pops and told of my recent sale. He told me to follow him and then he handed me this!!!! I was shocked, Thanks Pa.

That is Beautiful!! Both the quiver and what your dad did for you...

I really miss my dad even though he was a jazz musician and never hunted, I would agree with Jake on this statement.

Bill, I can't say I know what you dealt with but I bet your daughter has one great dad in her life   ;)
And treasures to keepsake like Jake   :)

What a guy! I bet that was fun for him. Treasure those moments. Make sure he knows how you feel about him. I'm sure you have. Thanks for sharing that. Did he make the quiver? It is a beauty!

Thanks for the comments everybody, greatly appreciated.

Shakes - I agree with Shell, no doubt that your daughter has a great dad in her life, good for you!

LOL Timberhawk!..

I don't think he made the quive, although he could have, but he did add the knife and sheath to the quiver.  I touched up the edge on the knife lastnight, and all the while thinking about times him and I have had over the years...

I will treasure and cherish him and those moments forever.
