Waterproofing natural feathers
« on: March 01, 2007, 02:27:00 AM »
How do you guys keep your natural feathers waterproof? Coming weekend we have a 3-d shoot but it will probably a rainy day and I'd like to keep them dry as good as possible.
I heard someone used silicon spray doing that.

I use a silicon based stain gaurd used for shoes. It works great and is cheap.

You can really tell who's got their tackle matched at a wet 3-D.  It's an eye opener  :D  ...Van
