well the trad bug has bitten again. i made a poor hit on a doe last year, due to tp, and have had a terrible fight with it all spring and summer. i tried every method out there to beat it, but i just figured some time off would be the only cure. so i sold some archery stuff and bought another compound, and have been making tiny groups out to 70 yards all summer. openign day i killed a 160 lb doe, and a few days later, a 100 lb doe. i am having a blast, but trad equipment is what i have the most fun with. well, i got out my longbow for the first time in months, today, and let me tell you, that huge group at 20 yards was so much more fun than a 6" at 70 yards with my compund! i love all kinds of archery, but this is IT! i mean, this stuff is so much fun. every time i shoot my longbow from now on, i will be doing many things differnet, to keep the panic away. all went well today, and i look foward to having alot more fun in the future!
