Brace height

Anybody recommend a good brace height for a Bear custom kodiak T/D RH 65# @ 28" my draw is 28". I have looked all over and am currently @ 8.5 on brace height It seems to have a bit of a "Twang" I am shooting xx75 2018 at 550 grains. Thanks.

I would say 8.5 may be on the high end,I braced my Bears at 7.5-8".Your getting a bit of twang,try some Bow Hush and Hush puppies on the string.Good products that works great on helping to quieten down recurves.You might try some 2020's,they'll give you a 600 gr.arrow depending on point weight.
