? about jumping bedded buck
« on: October 19, 2008, 05:37:00 PM »
I was squirrel hunting/scouting the far side of a property we have permission to. I was making my way through a rather thin strip of timber with the wind in my face and was almost to the end of it when i jumped a good buck that was bedded near a path that cuts through the length of the strip. I had not previously believed this area large enough to bed deer. Well i was wr...wrr..wro...wrong! Yuck that tasted terrible   :D   So will this buck bed in the same area again after been spooked from his bed?

I would think so if you did not bother him too much.
stay away for a few days and maybe he will forget.
maybe try a tree stand and a mock scrap with some doe and buck scents or get some friends and try a push
I've  seen  things  you  people  wouldn't  believe
