Can anyone suggest any books on arrow tuning?
Bob Lee Hunter 60in. 52 lbs. at 27 ins. recurve I am shooting 2018 xx75. I shoot 3 under.  Siting the string down the center of the riser. The shelf material is just beyond the left side of the string.  Bare shafts constantly shoot weak.
Also can't get rid of knock high.  I also recently shot axis 500 I had the same results with various weighted tips 100-225. I don't know
if I am in the correct spine range.  I am using the bare shaft planing method. I will consider all suggestions because I am very frustrated at this point.

Check your braceheight. Also how long are your arrows, if cut to 28"s they should fly well out of that bow. Shawn

Bob lee suggested guide lines are 7 5/8 to 7 3/4 .
Brace height is set at 7 3/4. Arrows are cut 28 1/4. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Should i try a longer brace height?
I am using soft side of velcro for shelf material.
Factory material was some type of cork material.
The outside of the velcro gets worn out. Seems the material gets burnt off from the arrow? Recently I built out the side plate with a piece of leather under the velcro.

I can't suggest any books-everything I needed to know is on OL Adcocks web site and right here on Trad Gang.
Do a variety of searches with keywords on what you need to know and away you go. It is all here!
