bows and ATV #2
« on: October 23, 2008, 11:27:00 PM »
Ok- #1 the roads are gated #2 signs state no motorized use beyond #3 my truck is parked there so they know someone is around.I went back to scout more and this time two guys come riding along, the same guy and another.not on a road or trail but in the trees like they were looking the place over too.
I tracked them for awhile to a open area down by a creek, they were tiling the earth or something or I don't know.when they left I went and looked at what they made and the ground was all tore up.maybe they were getting mushrooms I thought? I'm going to use my sneakysak in a near by tree and watch and coyote hunt-seems strange. more later.   :archer:

Well not everyone is responsible with the use of their 4 wheelers. It is the few slobs that give the majority a bad name.

I personally do not have an ATV and do not have an issue with them if they are used out of respect for others. It just frustrates me that some people are so inconsiderate.

If I were you I would report it as it seems they frequent the area quite often.

Did ya see any long leaf, green material leaving with them?

I saw in the newspaper this last week how the Pac. NW and InterMtn. areas are being overrun by gardeners of the weed.  The article was about a couple of BLM employees held at gun point while the gardeners cleared out.

Now we have to watch for snakes that crawl and those that walk.  Maybe they were just picking mushrooms.  Be alert.

By the way, like Chris said, they need to be reported if they are in a non-motorized area with an ATV.

Sounds like a later season hunter is putting in a fall harvest plot.
