I've done it but I was wearing a leafy suit, missed his head with the first arrow but by then he was dancing around the decoy and I got off another shot and got him.

tried it the following year and this bird new something was up and wouldn't come out of the think brushe into the opening.

yup stop calling when you see him coming,  friend of mine sets up his decoy on the edge of powerlines then hides about 10yds in from the edge about 20yds down from the decoy and the toms just walk right by him, he sets up in very very thick brush/ briars and shoots with the bow very canted and gets away with it--> hard part around here is us Turkey Newbs actually getting them to come into the call.
