I saw a fork horn acting like he had some idea what does were about....looked kinda twitterpated anyway.
 Two smallish woods scrapes behind the house. Still think the adult bucks know its a ways off yet.
There sure is alot of air around a squirrel...eeyup.

At our place a lot of scraping is going on about, six in a 150 yd by 150yd area.  Other than the scrapes have not seen any other pre ruttin activity.  Our bucks are hiding, after the last full moon, saw them every day up untill then and have not seen them since.

My nephew saw a nice buck and he acted like he was chasing. Nose down and zig zagging a field. I saw a buck tonight in broad daylight when I haven't seen a deer in daylight at all in forever.

"Twitterpated"   :D

Watched a nice buck this evening for 45 min. following a doe.  He just fed with her for most of that time, but right before dark he was chasing her back and forth across the bean field.

SO far its been just a trio of doe's, two other lone doe's and a large gentlemens club of Bucks............. The gentlemens club is currently hitting a picked beanfield  between two cornfields daily and every evening. I will be visiting them there the end of this week   :archer:

I've seen a couple that have their head down moving, but I haven't seen any hard chasing yet.  Lots of scrapes being made this week. Grunted one in from about 70 yrds Tues. morning.  It's getten'there!

I went out this morning after dropping my son at school, so I wasn't out at first light.  Thought I would just slip around till about noon.  I hadn't gotten but about 200 yds in when two does blasted by me.  I knew what that was all about.  Sure enough, a buck came not a minute behind them.  Problem was, he took a detour and came behind me crossing my path.  When he caught my trail he suddenly stopped and started backing out.  He presented a decent 20 yd shot, but it happened so fast that I choked and shot over him.
So to answer the question, yes they are chasing, at least to some degree.  Saw a young one a week ago doing almost the same thing.

saw a small 8 point chasing does this evening, ran them across the beanfield and right by my stand, think it was wishful thinking, they are getting ready though... had 2 bucks this morning with in 5 and 12 yds, one was 18 in. wide w/no tine length other was about 14 in. wide  with good mass, going to be big in a couple years let them both walk..

Bona,  I've been off this week. Hunting NE IN and NW Ohio. Smaller bucks have been chasing like mad all week. Wednesday I was stuck in my stand until after noon because of all the deer movement. Shot a 180# dressed 7 pointer that evening. With the colder weather coming and the rut heating up I believe that the bigger boys are gonna be moving next week. So, yes, I think it's time for "all day-ers". Good luck to ya!
