3 piece pronghorn quiver question
« on: October 31, 2008, 11:17:00 PM »
Ordered one of these from Mr. Meland a couple of weeks ago.  Won't be here till spring, but my wife is starting to ask for a Christmas list so I thought I'd get me a quiver for it.  I like the Great Northern strap-on, but am unsure if I need the adjustible one or just the plain longbow model.  I want the quiver to strap were the limbs meet the riser.  Any suggestions?

Fritz I would recomend the strap on great northern or the QD Great northern. I highly recomend the adjustable one as well. I have the gn rubber band one on mine and put it on at the very end of the riser(but still on the riser) before and dont have any problems with it.

Had a Kanati on mine that worked great also. Hard to beat G.N. quivers most of the time though.

Take a look at the Eagle's Flight 3 arrow quiver. That's what I have on mine, and you can hardly tell it's there.

Here I am the "Odd Ball" again!! I have an EF, A GN adj. Strap on, A Boa, and the one I'm using on mine is the limb Bolt Thunderhorn.  Did I make the wrong choice? It seems to be working well and very quite.  I chose it as it wasn't being used at the time as the rest, including others I did not mention were on some of my other bows.
