Changin a 2 to a 3

Well after reading all the articles on 3 bladed BH's I've decided to change over to the Woodsman. They will weigh 200grs after the adapter and what ever the JB Weld weighs. I did buy a 12 inch mill file to go with them for sharpening.

Do all you Woodsman users carry a small file or a small hone in the field for touch ups?
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

I'm playing with some WW too.. I got a snuffer tamer from 3R. With that little outfit I can get them hair poppin' sharp..  Going to give them a fair shake over the next couple of weeks.. They are very easy to get to spin perfectly true.

I'll just resharpen when I get back home. But then all of my hunting allows me to be at home at the end of the day.

I have had great results with the woodsmans. I just use a flat mill file and finish up with a medium and then a fine diamond file. I carry 5 hunting arrow in my bow quiver and I rotate the arrows. Once I have taken an arrow out of the quiver and put it back in a couple of times, I switch to the next arrow in the quiver. On evenings I can't hunt, I just take a few strokes with the diamond files again and they're ready to go. Pulling a broadhead out of the quiver foam dulls an it alot more than most folks think. My hunting buddy recently checked his broadheads that had been in the quiver since spring turkey season and only one of them was anyways near shaving sharp. He leaves 'em in the quiver when he parctices during the off season to keep the "feel" of his bow the same, which is a good idea, but the time in the quiver take the edge off of them. Hunt safe! Mike

x2 on the sharpness and the quiver dulling them.

I just use a Arkansas stone with oil to touch mine up, usually at home, as I have a 5 arrow quiver with 4 broadheads and a judo point.
