NJ Scouting Pix and ??'s
« on: November 03, 2008, 05:14:00 PM »
Well I was planning on hunting the evening hunt in hopes or scoring on my bday but that never happened...I was up all night with my girl being sick and now she is in the hospital.  I got a break and needed to unwind so I hit the woods. I started to sit but just ended up falling asleep so i got up and scouted around a bit with the bow.

Took some pix for ya guys and I also have a question about these shrubs.  I'm curious if deer will eat these shrubs in the following 3 pix.  Bare in mind this is in the heart of the pines!

Found this while scouting...

As well as these foot prints...man they are massive LOL!

Yeah Tom, the deer will eat that stuff when other food is getting scarce. Good luck.
I will give thanks to the LORD because of his righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.

They are rhododendrens.  Nice box turtle.  Don't see too many anymore.

Tom during Winter bow when there's snow on the ground you can see deer tracks all around the Rhodies. In the back at "Bear Alley" There's acres of them.
