Some help with new arrows
« on: November 04, 2008, 07:56:00 AM »
Hey guys thinking about trying out some carbons in my Belcher Longhorn longbow. Looking at the Carbon Tech Whitetails in 40/65. My bow is #52@29" and I draw the full 29. Ideally the arrows will end up around 30", but not any shorter. I am planing on putting 200-250 up front. Does that spine sound like it should work or should I step up to the 65/80?

I'd try the 45/60 first. Odds are real good that the 65?80 will be way stiff. Don't be surprised if you need 300 up front on the 45/60
