I have 2. One extreme and one regular riser, both made before the transfer of ownership.  People's opinions on bows are pretty subjective, but I'll say that I've shot everything I can get my hands on (tried everything at ETAR and other shoots for 2 years) and I still shoot and love my Zipper Extreme. But it's kinda like a good pair of shoes - the bow has to "speak to you" from the start, then you get used to it.  There are many great bows out there; this happens to be the best for me.

Great bows. I have 2! Great people. Looking at an Extreme with longbow limbs or just longbow limbs to swap on my current risers. Check out their quivers, too.

They are top line bows and shoot great, but you really should find one to shoot.  Each person has their own tastes regarding bows and how they shoot.

Hey Meril, I heard a lot of good things about the Zipper bows so when I went to Compton in june I had the chance to try some of them out. The grip with the finger grooves fit my hand like a glove and locates my shooting grip the same every time. I have since purchased a standard riser Zipper recurve with matching quiver from a fellow Tradganger, and also since then traded a Blackwidow PSA recurve for another Zipper, an Extreme riser recurve also with matching quiver. To me the the quiver is also top quality and seems to make the bow shoot even quieter. I have also met Bill and Tracey (Zipper Co. owners) and you can't beat them to deal with. Hope this helps with your decision, and best of luck,...Lloyd
