Question about the Horne "Traditionalist" ...
« on: March 04, 2007, 10:37:00 PM »
Am curious if the Horne "Traditionalist" limbs are like a narrow deep core longbow or more like a flatbow.

Just give Mark a call or e-mail him. You can send e-mails through the contact us, section of there website.  www.hornesarchery.com   Mark and Sandy are great people to deal with. I am sure he will be happy to answer any of your questions. I just ordered a Traditionalist on my recent trip to Texas, very nice bows.

Mr. Magoo,

The Traditionalist would be considered more of a deep core longbow.

If you have any other questions please give us a call.

I have two of their Combo Hunters with longbow limbs and a one piece Traditionalist with yew over bamboo with carbon limbs and a cocobolo riser. A smooth and beautiful bow. Fast too. Its limbs are wider than a Hill style bow but not as wide as some.I place it kind of in the middle. Great bow and great people.

I just received my new 52# Traditionalist today. Mark and Sandy did a beautiful job on both the bow and the Heritage 150's. I have only had a chance to sneak out back and throw 5 or 6 arrows but... Wow, is that bow fast!
Looking forward to chasin' the elk around come September!
Thanks Mark and Sandy for a fine bow,
   Tim
