Yes, please post review with good pics.

Always liked Chris's bows...had a Death Adder that, though very heavy, was an excellent bow. I might even order another if he would make them in the wood I want. One of the best grips I've ever had in my hand.

Beach, this is just of the press. He's been working out a proto and called me w/ a chance for his first one.I've been shooting his Hycurve and like it very much.I hope I'm as pleased w/ this longbow.
I let Chris pick the wood Bill,so this will be a suprise.Hope things are well for yourself and Tracy.Look foward to seeing you all this spring.Work it out so you guys can make it out this coming fall to NM for some gopher hunting.Remember,Jim said at least 2 years before you can kill a bull LOL.

He's also supposed to be coming out with a "stock bow". Only available in a dymondwood riser and at set weights. Same limbs as the Ikahn, just no fancy stuff.

The Habu is probably my favorite bow.  I love mine....I just wish they were a little less expensive.  I'm not saying they are not worth it, but man I just can't spend that kind of money on a bow anymore.  I was going to order another one this year, so that I had a backup in case Chris ever decided to stop making bows, but just could not part with that much money.  I really love Habu bows though.

Verm, you are right but don't expect to pay less than a K for one.

Canada was very slow.I saw 2 deer while hunting. We only had 4 days to hunt so I was not being to picky.Still waiting on the big bow to show here at home also.Lucky I have meat left from last year.Tracy had a decent 8 point come in on her, a couple of weaks ago while it was still worm.Just as the buck come in to her shooting lane a gnat flew in her eye.She said all she could see was a little black spot.I told her a bad excuse was better than none. You can guess what she told me.

Guys, last I heard Chris was only offering the Ikan series and they are $1750.  If I could still get one for around $1200, I would order a new one.  Great bows.

Guys, I am not familiar with Habu bows other than pictures and their website, but what exactly makes them so expensive? From a looks standpoint, they look almost exactly like a Black Widow. They are available in many more wood combos but does that make them nearly 2 grand?? Please don't interpret this as anything but curiosity.

It doesn't matter how or what you shoot, as long as you hit your target.

They probally aren't worth $1750 to most people and a Widow will kill anything just as dead. For me the Habu fit my shooting style better than any bow I've shoot.Chris IMO dose use better quality woods and to get it he waste alot.Fit and finish is as good as it gets and they down right perform.I shot widows for years and love them. The habu just has a little more twist w/ them.

I agree, the finish on the Habu is better than any other bow out there. Tough as nails.  I'll probably buy one someday, but at this time, I just can't justify that kind of money for a bow.  Not saying it's not worth it, but I just can't do it.

I happened to get lucky and pick up a used G2 Bushmaster. It has all the things that seem to make a great shooting bow to me. And it works well for me, we will see this winter at the indoor leagues    :readit:        :saywhat:    I got it just before returning to Michigan (temporarily) from Azhunter in Arizona. I was messing with some Deadheads tuning it this fall

The first couple single shots with broadheads where within the 3 inches of center. Then the third was

Flight was great!! I like it
