Canned Mojo???
« on: November 21, 2008, 02:44:00 PM »
Anyone know where I can get some? I need a BIG can of the good stuff. The kinda mojo that cuts right through all of those days that I was just a dumb young "shooter", making bad shots and not caring, taking these wonderful creatures that we spend so much of our time presuing for granted. I need the kind of Mojo that looks past all of those days that I was more concerned about how many people thought I was a good hunter instead of focusing on actually being one. The kind of Mojo that you can "see" and probably smell on people like, guru, killdeer, the feret, terry Green, charlie Lamb, bow_doc and the Wensels.........

Can you buy this stuff in a can? How long do I have to pay my dues anyways?

Maybe someone left some in the woods............guess Ill have to keep lookin!

Man I don't think I want anything I can smell on those guys.  I know those guys.  EWWWWWWWWWW!

LOL

We add a little to our finish on every bow we make.

I know that was a shameless plug, but heck it was a chance.

Jerry, sounds like you stepped in some and don't even know it! Keep walking the woods, your feet will pick up more of it as you go along.

I miss my Chesapeake days.

Dave you are a trip! is that India MoJo good stuff?

Jerry like Killie said you already have the Mojo. You're probably just thinking about it to much and it's getting in the way of you doing what it is you really want to do.  Forget about it and just enjoy each time you step in the woods and the rest will come to ya....

Considering we are talking about psychosomatic confidence maybe there is something you really can do.

Maybe buy a really really well made indian arrowhead from your region. Made by an old expert from your area.  Keep it with you for good luck.

I personally carved a piece of wooly mammoth ivory into a little arrowhead that I wear around my neck for good luck. It's twin is used as the arrow rest on my bow.

I add one bone bead to the string from every animal I've taken with a long bow. It's been pretty easy so far. I don't have any.  :(  Well one pig that I couldn't find before coyotes, but he isn't on the string yet. But 2 months left. I hope I'll add a bead or two.

Have to think about it. He was my first trad kill but I didn't find him till later. Not sure if he should go on the string or not.
