Has anyone shot or have one of Duane's 3 piece bows? I was wondering what your thoughts are on them. Thanks Flint

I just saw my first one this weekend at the Expo West,... Looked real nice, but I didn't shoot it, I have my eyes on a centaur.  But it did look REAL nice.

I have shot them at the Expo the last two years. They shoot great, just like all of his bows. I have shot the 2 piece and own a one piece. What I have found most impressive about Duane's bows is that they all have the same feel. Many bowyers bows shoot differently, feel different even within the same model let alone different models. A friend of mine and I can swap our bows (1 and 2 piece, 60" and 62") and shoot confidently with them.

Well, I succumbed and as I "need" a take down I placed an order for a 3 piece. As I am a one hunting bow guy I will be putting my 60", 60# one piece over on the classifieds as soon as I get confirmation from Duane on which woods are in my current bow.

Ryan... Is that Cocobolo and Bocote, man that thing is pretty.  I have a one piece and am thinking about putting up my ancient spirits with two sets of limbs to pay for the 3 piece Thorn
Is that MY arrow.....
