67" jeffery longbow.....Good bow???
« on: November 25, 2008, 07:03:00 PM »
I have a chance to trade one of my compounds for a jeffery longbow. They said the bow is the 67" one that they only made 1 year. Its hill style. I'm asking 375.00 for my hoyt. Is it a good trade? I dont know anything about longbows , just want to try shooting one...Thanks Roy

this is the only bow ever made like this.. this is a once in a life time bow. mr. owens told me this one was made just for a man named mike kyzer. i think it would be a nice trade out..

I've shot a 68" Jeffery LB (63#@28") exclusively for 15 yrs. Thousands and thousands of arrows have gone through it. After 25 yrs. it is still going strong. I would suggest you run for it in a hurry!
Dont forget to post pics when you got it  :readit:

Didnt trade for the longbow..It was too heavy on the draw. I traded for a gamemaster with camo dorado limbs instead. It was more my draw weight. Not a longbow but no wheels ..Roy
