I think coat mine with a product called no-ox ( no oxidation) that I get from work. Its a thick gel/cream that looks very close to Soggy Bottom Boys hair gel  :)

When the last deer disappears into the morning mist,
When the last elk vanishes from the hills,
When the last buffalo falls on the plains,
I will hunt mice for I am a hunter and I must have my freedom.

Aren't bow bolts usually stainless?????

Never owned a takedown but if I have to worry about the dang bolts rusting I probably never will buy one.

Seems like a no brainer to me.
Dave

I've come to believe that the keys to shooting well for me are good form, trusting the bow to do all the work, and having the confidence in the bow and myself to remain motionless and relaxed at release until the arrow hits the mark.

Rusty.

My firearms take a bit of a abuse in the canoes, snow, and transition from extreem cold to my humble abode.

Have been using a product called "Barricade" with very good success. It will withstand a five day saltwater dunk! I see it in most racks that carry gun cleaning supplies. It does not leave a film to pick up grit and a very tiny drop goes a long ways.

I have also been putting it on freshly sharpened broadheads to keep the cutting edge from pitting over time. Shows good promise there too.

Other stuff works in the rust/oxidation prevention department but this stuff simply will not pick up any extra grit

My Best,

Scotty

Black Widow has brass limb bolts in two lengths,  but I'm not sure if its the same size or length as your limb bolts.

kbaknife, I used eezox for years on guns but i put it on my boblee and it seemed to erode the finish on the bow not shure but seemed to.  have you seen the same or did you just put it on the bolts?

Maybe you can tell by my "handle", but I am a professional knife maker and use it on all my knives. I've never seen it adversely affect any of my knife handles. I use it on my guns as well, and they seem ok.
Won't say it can't happen, but it's something to look out for!
