I would say just like mike...I have 4 ACS bows, but only one with the 16" RC riser...At the beginning, with the 14" risers, I have got troubles with the little sight's window cause I shot vertically and was too very often blood hurted by the feathers...I changed the shelf, put leather grips and was not hurted any more...I learned to shoot with the bow bent and accomodate with the small sight's window so now I can shoot even vertically without feeling bad...I bought too the 16" RC riser, it's a very, very comfortable riser but now I prefer my 14" ones..and especially the alu ones which, thanks to the adding weight, provide a great steadyness and a really zero shock feeling...I highly recommand the alu riser for people shooting heavy weights like me (75#@29) or fearing for hand, back or elbow shocks: with this riser, shooting become an absolute pleasure...I have owned more than 70 trad bows, all from the bests and never found a better for me than the ACS..
