Ron LaClair....Caped Hood Question
« on: December 02, 2008, 10:02:00 PM »
Mr. LaClair,

Bowmac posted a photo of you wearing a blaze orange cape.  A quick trip around your website shows the cape with a hood attached.  My question is how many square inches of blaze orange does this have??  I'll have to double check, but West Virginia (my home) requires either 300 or 500 square inches of orange during hunting season.

Thanks so much.

I'm not sure about the square inches of the cape but it's enough to satisfy Michigans hunter orange regulations for the late muzzleloading season.

This is just the cape without the hood so I can wear it under the color of the wool coat. If you added the hood onto the cape it would be a lot more "inches".
