Help newbie with Black Swan arrows...

I will be receiving a Classic Longbow from Arvid soon...and I need to get some arrows put together.

It will be a 57# @ 28" AMO, and I pull a true draw of 27/27.5"...

I want to use carbons, 210gr Silver Flames, 75gr brass inserts, four 3" parabolics and have a complete weight in the 600-650gr range.

Any advice on which brand and size??

I will gladly consider any and all advice. I am use to compound bow setups, and trad shooting is still a bit "new" to me.

I'll take a stab. I really like the Axis/Beman slim shafts. I am not sure what size you need. I shoot 60# and draw 27.5" and I shoot the 340 size with 200-225 grains up front and 29" long. You will be shooting close to 300 grains up front. Your bow is slightly lighter than mine so the 340's could work...I can shoot them up to about 65# and they weigh in right around 600 grains depending on the bh I  use.

The Classics like real heavy arrows. I have a 56@30 that I shoot 31" Trad Heavies on with regular inserts and 200 up front. The 340s with the set-up you list should be close but I start long and trim as you go.

Should I be good with Easton ST Axis's, 340's...starting at 30", with 100gr brass inserts and 200gr heads??

If you got a way to cut them, I'd start full length and trim em from there.  Just my opinion, but I like to tinker

Always better to start full length. Cut from the nock end on axis until you get it where it works then cut the rest to match.

Sounds good...do you do your trim and test bareshaft or fletched ??

Good advice.  I shoot the mfx shafts and the axis.  I am sure the 340's will work for you.  If they end up weak you can build out the sideplate.  I've got one of those swans coming any day know too.
