"Justpassable" Has Returned
« on: December 03, 2008, 12:51:00 PM »
"Justpassable" my Howard Hill 68" Big 5 has returned.
She out west in Montana getting a weight reduction....
She left weighing in at 52# @ 28" and came back at nice slim 49# @ 29" and with a nice Stain finish as well....
Actually She arrived yesterday, So I unpacked Her from Her box and then I had to replace Her Black Leather Grip and Arrow strike plate, I told Craig I would do that myself because I use a different style of Stitching than he dose and it saved me $10...
It was a little windy and Cold for us CA guys, but I took Her outside and flung a couple of Arrows anyways just to see how She dose....
She used to like 2018 Legacy's cut to 29" with 125 up front, So with Her new weight I decided to try some 2016 and it was a good choice, She liked them, after a couple of warm ups for the both of us, I was putting 2 out of 3 in the spot at 20 yds.
I do believe it was worth the $130.00 for the job, I will be more comfortable with Her now....
Now to take Her out for some Beaver....
Picture later if the Sun comes out again soon....

Good Idea Mike, I like the lighter weight Hill better.

but the diligent feed on the riches of the hunt.

My Big 5 will be taking the same trip.  Back to Craig for a refinish.
