Where to Find a String Tracker?
« on: March 06, 2007, 10:21:00 PM »
Hey All!

I've made a promise to myself not to even uncase my shotgun this turkey season.  It's recurve or no bird for me.  The reward is to mount whatever bird I shoot, jake or longbeard.

So, I'd like to mount a string tracker to my quiver the way I saw on here a while back.

Anyone have a good source for these?
"So much do the savages esteem the wood of this tree for the purpose of making their bows, that they travel many hundred miles in quest of it."  -- Meriweather Lewis' description of the Osage Orange tree in a letter sent to Thomas Jefferson.
