knife sheath\\quiver
« on: March 06, 2007, 10:40:00 PM »
I just ordered a new neck knife, and since I want to make a hip pocket quiver, I was wondering about attaching a knife sheath, has anyone here ever made a hip pocket quiver, or even made one with a knife sheath?

Check out the "show me your quiver" thread. I think there's some pics on there of quivers with sheaths. I think Mr. Vic and Shell both did them.

Built in knife and broad head file sheaths.  Added on ceramic rod sheath (to touch up my knife) and hawk sheath.

You can't see it, but Shell put a sheath inside the pocket of this quiver.

starting to make mine now, gonna be a jean pocket quiver, good for stump shooting, since I only use a few arrows, the knife is a very thin neck knife, gonna add a slim sheath to the outside of the quiver, I'll post pics hopefully when its done this weekend!

This isn't exactly what you're looking for, but a friend made these:  knife in an armguard, and knife in a side quiver.  The knife in the armguard is a neck knife.

Best of luck with your project.

A lot of the old commercial quivers had knife and file sheaths as well. I really liked the quiver that Gray Buffalo made with the sheath on it. Nice lines!
