Brownell String Material ???
« on: December 12, 2008, 06:19:00 PM »
Would Brownell D75 be similar to DynaFlite '97 and would Brownell Xcel be similar to 450+?  I haven't used either one of these Brownell products before but have an opportunity to pick them up locally.  Any thoughts on either of these from those who have made strings from them?

D75 and Dynaflight 97 are the same material....for some reason D75 seems to have a bit more creep.

I haven't used Xcel, but both 450+ and Excel are blended materials Dyneema/Vectran with Excel using a higher percentage of Vectran.

Thanks Rod.  I picked up some Xcel to try out.
