Its almost that time...

Here in NY, the late archery season ends Sunday. I have had two shots this year at the same buck...first trad shots at deer. Neither connected, and I still left the woods each time smiling. I cant hunt tomorrow, so I guess Sunday is my last hurrah. Im looking forward to it. Im exhausted.  :biglaugh:  
Of course my mind is already set on bunnies. I have had so many shots during deer season which I wouldnt take, well, because I was deer hunting.
I have also seen a rather large number or grouse(for around here) this year.
I cant wait to get out there and chase small game, and I thought it would be a great thing if people would start posting this year's small game pics on this thread. Lets see em, and good luck!

Never did make it back out...life got in the way, as it has that ability. Nothing serious, stuff like fixing vehicles and playing with my son.
Snow is coming! You know I will be out there chasing bunnies at some point tomorrow! Good luck to everyone.

Sounds doable Izzy...
I just got back in from my first solo outing. To say Im disappointed would be an understatement. All the prime habitat has been brush hogged, and areas the used to yield five or six shots at 5-10 bunnies dont even have tracks anymore. There is still "Bunny mecca" on a side hill by the cedars, but hunting that with only one guy is almost impossible.
Next time out, I go across the street, there I know nothing has been mowed. Not as many bunnies, but still some.

I've got weekends off..... I'll be sure to bring my brush stomping feet with me....  :)
