Who makes them? I shot a few of them today at an Archery shop. They look very similar to the Mon River Bows. Thanks!

Thanks for the link. I bought a Mon River longbow at Baltimore some years ago, and like the design of their longbows and recurves. i gave the bow to Mockingbird in a moment of weakness, and am busily thinking of some way to dupe him back out of it. That Possum Stick is like a feather in the hand.

The Mountain Bow is an outstanding performer. Allegheny Mountain Bows were designed and built by Bill Kerner. He recently sold the business to some fellow New Jersey folks. Talk to Bamboo - he had one made for his wife a year or two ago.

Thanks Scott! Yep according to the website Bill Kerner has been helping the new bowyer out. As far as Mon River I think Ed is still in business. I'd have to call my Buds at Pequest Valley Archery to find out. They used to carry Ed's bows.

Ed is still making Mon River bows. I have about 5 new and 2 used bows from Ed in the store.
Dave Miller, who was partners with Bill Kerner is still making bows as well.
