Stump shooting
« on: December 15, 2008, 06:20:00 PM »
My son in law was bitten by the bug last month.  I found out tonight that he went stump shooting for the first time with his borrowed bow. I haven't talked to him yet to see how he enjoyed it but I'll give him a call when he gets home and find out.

Stumpin is addictive - no doubtabout that.  Now you've got the hook set, all you have to do is reel him in!

Hey, I had a good time stump shooting, even though the drizzle and wind was about to blow me away.  It was good practice since I could shoot at various angles and positions and not have to worry about hitting the neighbors houses.  By the way how was your hunting trip?

Come on. I know your neighbor's houses are safe cause I taught you how to shoot myself.

When you get time come on over and watch for my neighbors while I sneak into their yard to retrieve some of my arrows.

Hint:  use field points or hex heads for stumping not you father in laws broadheads.

Agree with Whip...very addictive. Its the only method I use to practice. A real diverse way to practice, from all angles, kneeling, standing, uphill etc....Makes you concentrate when you pick out those real small targets.      :)
