You can't kill a rabbit with a bow.
They are too fast and small.

Anywhere there are a lot of Bunnies is a good place to hunt them with trad gear, they are hard to hit but and you may not get your limit but you will have a blast trying.
Proverbs 12:27
The lazy do not roast any game,
but the diligent feed on the riches of the hunt.

Take a little drive on Jan. 24th and we'll try to show you!  Badger Arrow is organizing a WI bunny hunt near Waterloo that day and a bunch of Trad Gangers will be there.  Heck, we'll have a blast even if we don't see any bunnies, but I'd say the odds are good we can find a few!  :campfire:

The trick is to bring an assortment of arrows you arent scared of losing. Threading the needle is always a possibility....running shots. It is a lot of fast paced fun. Every now and then you get a "gimme" shot, but I miss those too usually.
Otherwise, its just like Killy said. Unless your Killy....or Stoneknife....or Damon.   :biglaugh:

Bowmaster.   Go slower.  There is typically a big difference in gun and bow hunting and it often equates to.... gun hunters shoot things on the fly,  and they walk faster trying to scare up more game.   Bow hunters must find a good area and still hunt thru it, looking for the bunny before it runs.

Unless you are hunting over beagles....  then well,  shoot fast !

Yeah, what ChuckC said!!!
If you like to stalk your prey this is a great way to learn. Plenty of action, I love seeing how close I can get before taking the shot.
What a rush!!!!!!
