I have a Chocktaw Chief, 48 @ 28 64". Shoots great. I have heard that his bows have been  performers. Saw some adds in TBM after his passing and then nothing. I do remember talking to him when I ordered my bow and him telling me "I'll make you a good bow". That he did. I would not hesitate if offered the chance to purchase another of his bows. Also his prices were very reasonable.

Bobby made a longbow for me called the Choctaw Halfbreed because it had a recurve shaped riser and longbow limbs. Bobby always did people right.
Wouldn't sell this bow for anything.

The last time I got to talk to Bobby was about six years ago.  He was at the Pa. Bowhunter Festival, and had a space there where he was selling his bamboo backed osage bows for $150.00 each.   I bought one from him and talked to him for some time.  Great guy who made a very good product for little monetary return.  He was a joy to sit and talk to 8^).
