Cresting question
« on: December 19, 2008, 10:34:00 PM »
I'm throwing together some bunny bustin arrows and finnished them with Tru Oil.  I have testers and I have bohning cresting paint.

Which should I use for a real simple crest.  I'm not sure about compatibility of either product with Tru Oil.  I'll seal with tru Oil as well.

Thanks, Trap

If your not going to over dip the Testers (Oil base) will be fine, however the Bohning is a vinyl lacquer it will cause orange peel. If over dipping then a water base acrylic enamal.
