Well, got back from Az on Friday and had a great trip. We hunted in the Rincons, just east of Tucson. While I didn't connect, I did get  close: 30 yards from a real nice Coues buck and 10 from a fork-horn. Weather was a little nasty and kept the Javelina from moving, though we did see some as well as desert mule deer does.

Beautiful country, great outfitter/guides, and I want to go back!

Glad you had a good trip.  5 of us trad shooters just came back from W. Texas Sat. We hunted javelina for a week.  We really had a good time.  Saw lots of pigs, but found the samething, the first couple days the weather was cool and the javelina were not out moving much.  We wound us with 8 javelina.
I found the best thing to take along besides your bow and lots of arrows, is a puffer bottle that you can check the wind with.  Without that you will only see them running away.  Always check the wind!!!
