SO. IN. Hardwoods Bow
«

I recenly come across some well seasoned tulip poplar. It is kinda greenish color. I am thinkin veneers. Like I need another bow! Soo I thought I will use Indiana domestic woods. Osage riser with hickory (cheated a bit)bloodwood stripes with the poplar uder clear glass and black walnut cores. Some pics-
And a little trick I learned from Dano. Drilled a small hole thru the limb tip to hang the bow for spraying. Then put some braided fishing line thru the hole and top string loop for a string keeper.

Now that is a nice one! I like the way that tulip poplar turned out.

Limb veneers are very nice also. another fine "crooked stick"
Steve,
Lots of guys make bows at the Itba club in scottsburg. Look up Dennis or Steve both guys make exellant bows

Really nice job and concept there Crooked Stic. Now Mike don't go to Scottsburg without me, especially if you're taking that bow.
