I draw 29" on my 57# RER LX and shoot the GT 55/75's with 270 grains up front.  You are shooting a little more weight, so might have to drop the point weight to make it work.  I'm not a Widow shooter, but from what I read it sounds like they like a stiff arrow.

I have shot a lot of Goldtips and had pretty good luck with them.  The 55/75s are usually around.400 spine.  Out of your set up, I would start around 200 - 250gr up front and see how they fly.  Carbon shafts stiffen quickly when you start to shorten the shafts, so go slow.  Once you get them tuned, you will like them!!!!  Good luck!

I shoot them at about your same set up...I shoot a 125 grain field point and I put the inserts that came with them in and they fly straight and fast!!!  BLM

Kevin, I shoot the 3555's out of all my recurves. I have a SAIII and they shoot great out of it with tip weights down to 115 grains up to 200 grains.  Mine is 54lbs @ 28", but you won't have any trouble getting them to tune.

If you would like more weight without affecting spine you can also get the adapters for the nocks that receive the screw in weights. So say if you wanted to add 100gr.  you could put a 50 in the point insert and a 50 in the nock insert.  You can get these from black Widow or Sipsey River who is a sponsor here.

I have been shooting full length gold tip 55/75s with the 5gr weight tubes and 250gr tips out of my 60lb @ 29" Chek-mate cruaser longbow for a total wieght of 662gr, and out of my buddies recurve 63lbs at 28" with 200gr tips at 612gr.  They fly great, and hit hard.

We are making up some Carbon Express 350s with 100gr inserts, 200gr heads and the weight tubes.  SHould be up around 850gr.  I figure they will make great penetrating arrows for my 60lb and 71 lb longbows.  Will be looking forward to putting a few of these thru a bear or moose next year.

I shoot either my Border recurve 61# at my draw weight or my Border longbow, 62#. My hunting set-up for either is GT's, 55/75 with 125gr Wooodman's, with a 40gr adapter, 70grs added in weights-all up front, plus the glue. (at least 330 in the front end). Comes to around 545 but I get pass throughs on big pigs, bears, and of course deer. I thought of going a little heavier but I am afraid to jinx anything particularly since I seem to be able to shoot the same arrow out of either bow!   :)   I get "professional" help with tuning when I purchase a new bow-getting someone to observe, offer tips etc.
