learning to shoot a longbow part 2
«

well i had my bow up for sale... then took it back off.
I didn't think i could get use to that longbow until I canted it almost to 45 degrees! In one day I went from watermelon sized groups to small cantelope and even apple from 15 to 20 yards.
With my recurve I could shoot from 0 to 20 with my longbow it seems to be about 30 to 45 degrees.
May not be normal but it works.
Thanks for the Hornes Brushbow Mike

I learned just the opposite, I had a longbow and bought a recurve and couln't shoot it worth a darn until I held it vertical more or less. My longbow shoots great in that 45degee spot too.
