My Shrew is here! PICS!
« on: December 31, 2008, 12:02:00 AM »
Finally got my used Shrew in the mail today. It's 55#@27" and a 54" recurve. Shoots good for me, too. Tell me what you think. Be honest, please. It's about 10 years old and looks pretty good for it's age, I think. The skins are a little faded.

Thanks, bowhunterfrompast. What kind of woods do you think were used in this bow?

Looks nice. Maybe red elm limbs with actionwood riser. I can't tell from the pics if the laminations are maple or bamboo.

Looks good to me, You might lace on a new grip and she would look awesome.  Skins are real nice.

What amazes me is how a Shrew, and other bows like them can be so light, and yet so powerful.

"Be honest"...

It`s beautiful!

great looking bow, congratulations. I folded under pressure (from the little voices in my head!!) and will be ordering one as soon as Ron returns home from hunting.
Good luck with it.

All that matters is what you think and how it shoots for you. I like it myself though since you asked. lol
